SHORT CHICANE/ NO REVERSE,
FOR SETTING IN
THE CHICANE ENABLES ANIMALS TO BE SENT EITHER TOWARDS THE RACE OR TOWARDS ANOTHER EXIT, e.g. leading to the loading ramp. The chicane limits reversal of animals within the race. The short chicane has a double no reverse post, and is installed leaving a man passage between the 1/2 corral and the chicane. Since the posts of the short chicane/ no reverse are set directly into concrete, they can withstand animal pushing strain. However, installation is more difficult. In the animal passage area, consider creating a concrete area with a brushed surface to prevent animals falling.
PLEASE USE HANDLING AREA POSTS: STANDARD WELDED POSTS OR BARE POSTS WITH BRACKETS ARE NOT SUITABLE.
