ADJUSTABLE
PLATE-MOUNTED RACE
THE ADJUSTABLE STEEL-SHEET RACE ENABLES ANIMAL MOVEMENT IN COMPLETE SAFETY. It is composed of two single gantries and one double gantry. The gantries are made from OCTAGONAL tubes on a broad flat base with two non-slip bars. The gantries have a rail with rollers supporting a frame. This frame in turn supports a steel-sheet barrier with lifting bar, and the rails enable simple, rapid adjustment with double locking per pin. If an animal refuses to advance, the steel-sheet barrier of the race can be opened for side exit. The gantries are spaced between each other. The width is adjustable from 46 to 80 cm. The space around the gantries is blocked by a mobile steel-sheet casing automatically changing according to adjustments. Patented.
For a longer race, simply order a race extension, composed of a double gantry and two steel-sheet barriers with frames. The adjustable race is supplied with one side fitted with steps. Thanks to the steps and lifting bar, the livestock handler has unrestricted, safe access above the animals.
The lifting bar is unlocked with a quick movement of two handles inwards. The bar can be quickly locked with two AUTOLOCK bolts.Patented system. The adjustable race only exists plate-mounted, and is to be installed on a perfectly flat concrete slab. Good quality concrete will enable plates to withstand animal pushing strain. In the animal passage area, consider creating a concrete area with a brushed surface to prevent animals falling. Ground attachment pins not supplied. We recommend a 20 cm thick slab minimum with resistance of C25/30 MPa. Please use at least four M12 L160 pins per post.
